When I was 12 years old I fell in love with fashion Illustration when my teacher made us read the NY Times. I opened the advertising pages and saw 18" fashion drawings by Kenneth Paul Block and Antonio. I went on a search for the perfect "how to draw" fashion figure sketch book and finally found a not "so perfect" out of date, dusty text book. With little to go by I taught myself the figure proportions so I could create my own fashion drawings and designs.
I went to the HS of Art and Design in NYC and then received my BFA from Pratt Institute in Fashion Design and Illustration. I am currently completing my Masters at Jefferson+ Philadelphia University in Global fashion Enterprise
I have worked in the NY Fashion Industry in fashion design, illustration and visual styling. I currently teach in the Fashion Department at Pratt Institute.
I am a new author of a college text book titled "Beginner's Guide to Sketching the Fashion Figure" Published by Bloomsbury/Fairchild Publications.
